Therapy Dog’s Dark Secret Got Exposed When Police Officers Caught Him Stealing A Toy

Therapy Dog’s Dark Secret Got Exposed When Police Officers Caught Him Stealing A Toy

Jeni Hans February 22, 2021

During the holiday season, kids get the most out of the festivities. For them, it’s all about yummy treats, presents, and, of course, toys.

Just like kids, dogs can also feel the fun and excitement the season brings. They know it’s the time they are allowed to have extras. They get to have extra fun, extra food, and extra toys. Or at least, this is what a golden retriever named Ben Franklin believes.

Since birth, Ben has been working with the Franklin Police Department as a therapy dog. Through the years, Ben was able to provide service in the community, schools, and seniors centers. He has been providing comfort to those stressed and traumatized people.

Every year, the Franklin Police Department collects toy donations with the help of one eager dog, Ben. These toys will be sent to Santa Foundation. And then, later on, the toys will be distributed to children in need.

Ben has always been everyone’s favorite. He is loved by the whole community. That is why no one suspected that such an adorable being has a dark secret.

It took quite a while for the police department to start noticing Ben’s behavior toward the donated toys they’ve collected. And then one day, the officers finally bear witness to Ben’s secret agenda.

It was just like any other day at the police department. Later on, Ben was seen carrying a baby doll. As soon as he noticed that he got spotted, he quickly walked away.

If the incident was surely not caught on camera, this could have been just like any other case of missing toys in the department. And so, people started asking where Ben brings those toys.

People’s speculations about his hiding spot were quickly answered. In a few moments after getting busted, Ben headed straight under the desk. It was then that the officers found his stash.

The officers were so amused at how sneaky and clever Ben could get. Stealing toys is bad, but the officers can’t help but laugh at Ben’s shenanigans.
