China is currently in its winter season. Because it is freezing everywhere, everyone is doing what they can to keep themselves warm and survive the cold. That includes this adorable little fur baby named Xiao Zhi Ma.
Recently, the brown puppy was caught on camera, snuggling up to his mom’s slippers and it melted millions of peoples’ hearts. In the clip, Xiao Zhi Ma, or “Little Sesame,” appeared to be squeezing himself into his mom’s fluffy slipper while she was still wearing it. Because the little pup seemed so determined, the pet owner took her foot off of it and granted her dog’s demand.
Immediately after, the tiny pup crawled onto the fluffy grey slipper. Then, he curled up inside and made himself comfortable with his head stuck inside. Xiao Zhi Ma seemed to know that he would fit perfectly in his mom’s shoe. According to the pet owner, the little puppy snuck himself in her slipper because he wanted to stay warm.
Xiao Zhi Ma’s owner from Harbin, a north-eastern city in China, shared the footage on the Chinese equivalent of TikTok called Douyin. To her surprise, Little Sesame’s adorable clip became the most trending video in the country. It racked up millions of views less than 24 hours after she posted it.
The fur mom wrote in the post that her dog would try to rob anyone of their slippers. She explained that the pup was doing that because it was getting way too cold in the winter. It looked like little Xiao Zhi Ma even bit his mom’s foot, demanding to take off the furry shoe for him to get in.
Thankfully, the tiny pup’s efforts did not go in vain. His mom gave in and he got his desired warm, cozy spot to snuggle. It will be a few more weeks before winter ends. So, it looks like Xiao Zhi Ma will continue robbing his mom of her slipper to keep himself warm.
