Angel was one of the four dogs rescued by the Romanian organization called Howl Of A Dog from an old garage filled with trash and wreckage. For three long years, she never learned what love meant or how it felt to be part of a family. She lived in a property that was never a home.
While Angel was loved her siblings, she competed with them for food. She rarely ate because her owner only visited them once every two to three weeks. As a result, she starved and her body deteriorated so fast.
Despite having very little interaction with humans, Angel proved to be such a kind and compassionate soul. When rescuers came for her, she did not bark, not even once. And with the gentlest touch, she fell safe with them and fell asleep.
The rescuers walked the dog into their car and drove her straight to the vet’s clinic, where she received urgent medical care. She underwent a thorough examination, had her blood tested, and received treatment against fleas and dehydration. And throughout, she remained calm and polite. She sat on the examination table and let the vet staff do their job.
Angel hated medicated baths and going to the vet. But because she knew she needed both to heal, she endured these things for several weeks. She remained calm and brave because she wanted to get better.
Gradually, Angel added weight and she grew a beautiful black coat. She started to explore her surroundings and met a lot of new friends along the way. At last, she learned how to live a happy life.
Angel loves going on walks but not so much going on adventures or long hikes. She can really be a little shy with people she doesn’t know, but it only takes a little patience and love for her to warm up to anyone. She also gets along with any dog, big or small, but prefers one that isn’t too pushy.
Now ready for a fresh start, Angel wishes to find an amazing family whom she can love unconditionally. She’s under the care of her rescuers in Romania but she’s also open to traveling abroad.
