Dealing with the loss of a beloved pooch is a hard one, especially if the dog became part of one’s life for so long. However, death is inevitable and part of a dog’s life. This is what Michelle Pfeiffer has to deal with when his dog named Freddie succumbed at age 18.
The actress shared the sad news through her Instagram page last Wednesday, telling her fans how much the dog helped her in her life. The development likewise saddened many of Pfeiffer’s fans because they got used to posts of the actress related to the dog.
The death of Freddie comes a few days after the actress posted a throwback photo that showed her pregnancy. In the post, Pfeiffer mentioned how much she misses her children in time for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. The photo showed the actress’ pregnancy for her second child, John Henry.
In a separate post, Pfeiffer remembered the legacy brought by her dog, Freddie. According to the actress, her life without the pooch would be very strange because she got used to having Freddie around. For 18 years, Freddie became part of Pfeiffer’s life as well as her family’s life. This is why it saddened her the most when the pooch did not make it through due to old age.
Even then, Pfeiffer is still thankful for the 18 years she had with the pooch. All the memories she and her family had with Freddie will forever be etched in their memories. It is saddening, though, that they could not mourn the death of their beloved pooch due to the pandemic’s restriction.
Ever since the community lockdown, Pfeiffer has been observing the protocols to combat the ill effects of the deadly virus. She even posted about her activity during the Easter egg hunt while keeping the physical distancing rule.
