Unfortunately, dogs going missing happens quite often and owners become extra cautious by getting their dogs microchipped. Although this really doesn’t help prevent dogs from going missing, it makes it easier for owners to find them.
The microchip contains information about the dog including its owner. Whenever a stray dog is found, the animal shelter scans them for a microchip.
A man named Dara Prak is the proud owner and dad of a Pit Bull named Titan. Dara had Titan ever since Titan was a puppy and the two have developed an unbreakable bond. Dara immediately fell in love with Titan the first time they met. Since then, they became inseparable.
Unfortunately, after a year of being together, Titan went missing. Dara looked for Titan everywhere but he didn’t have any luck finding his beloved dog. It seemed like Titan vanished into thin air and it was incredibly upsetting for him. The only thing that’s left of Titan was his collar, which proved to be an important clue.
It was clear that Titan was stolen. Dara was completely heartbroken and realized that it was going to be next to impossible to find his beloved dog. However, Dara didn’t give up his search for Titan. Dara posted on social media about Titan and he even visited nearby animal shelters to give them information about Titan.
Weeks went by and Dara still couldn’t find Titan. However, after three months of searching, Dara finally got the phone call he was hoping for. Surprisingly, the call he got was from a shelter in South Carolina. Dara lived in Texas and it was a little surprising for him to receive a call a thousand miles away about his dog.
The shelter asked Dara if he was missing a dog to which he immediately answered yes. Dara was so excited when he heard that Titan’s been found. After hanging up, Dara and his girlfriend started the drive to South Carolina from their home in Texas. It was a 16-hour drive but it meant nothing for Dara as long as he was reunited with his beloved dog.
When Dara and Titan were reunited, they were both so excited to see each other again. Dara was in tears when he was finally able to hug Titan again. Everyone at the shelter was also emotional when they saw just how Dara and Titan loved each other. Despite being skinny, Titan was in good health. No one really knows how Titan ended up in South Carolina but they suspected that whoever stole Titan drove to South Carolina and decided to abandon Titan there.
Regardless of what happened, Dara is just glad that Titan’s finally back home with him. Dara never gave up on finding his best friend. Here’s a truly emotional and heartwarming video showing Dara tearfully reuniting with his dog after being separated for three months.
