Time and again, we hear stories about people losing faith in humanity. If we take a look at their lives, we cannot judge them all the same. Some turn their backs on family and friends for justifiable reasons.
The sweetest remedy that some take is to have a furry companion whose love and understanding supersedes that of humans. A dog forever accepts man’s limitations, consoles, and loves even more.
Anatoly Derbenev, a 70-year-old man from south-central Kazakhstan city of Taraz, regards his beloved pooch, Magnus, his ‘only family.’
We do not know why this happened. However, if there is anything worth noting, it is the loyalty of Magnus to his owner, Anatoly.
Fidana Durusova filmed Anatoly and his loyal pooch shepherding him in his wheelchair along the road. She said that she offered the pensioner money and food, to which he declined.
Intensely focused, the eleven-month-old pooch made sure that his master’s chair was wheeling along. He even put his head under Anatoly’s chair towards the axle in an attempt to nudge it forward. At a certain point, he seemed to check the road for vehicles that passed by Anatoly’s side.
Magnus started helping Anatoly since he was four months old. This faithful doggie got hit by a bus in the past. However, he seems to have recovered in the video, even helping his owner every inch of the way.
It is very heartwarming to see Anatoly’s best friend actively serving him. We humans can still turn to our beloved canines when all odds are against us.
Dogs love genuinely. They never betray us.
To bystanders, the two seem to be a pitiful sight. But for two souls committed to loving and serving each other under dire conditions, they must be holding the most magnificent gem of all — friendship!
