If you are a dog lover, stories of dog maltreatment are no longer new to you. While it may come as no surprise, this kind of account still hurts you. This is the reason why whenever a person hears or reads about people helping dogs, it is almost always a source of happiness. This Colorado accountant named Steve Greig is one of the many people who go above and beyond in helping in-need animals.
After experiencing a personal misfortune, Steve decided to adopt unwanted and senior dogs, promising these animals with a better future and a loving home. Steve does this with his hard-earned money, and he never regrets doing this.
A few years into his mission, the man is now home to ten dogs. But apart from dogs, the man likewise makes his home available to other animals. He has been helping cats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, and turkeys, to name a few.
In an interview, Steve mentioned that he grew up in a family of animal lovers. At a very young age, he got already used to seeing different animals at home because his parents’ love for animals is unprecedented. He, however, confessed that unlike his family, he is not that fond of animals.
One accident, though, changed his decision. Though the man did not mention what the accident was, Steve said that the ordeal made him a nice person. Since he survived that ordeal, Steve promised that he would follow the footsteps of his family in loving animals.
He remained true to his words until today and has not regretted his decision. He said that he finds fulfillment in helping these animals, especially those who are old already. For him, there is a great feeling of joy whenever he shares the blessings he receives to the unfortunate animals.
Credits to Steve.
