Miss Flans came from backyard breeders that had dog siblings mate with each other. Because she is an inbred, the pup was born with multiple genetic abnormalities. The little Chiweenie mix suffers from albinism, partial blindness, and seizures. Her tongue is also a little too long for her snout, so it is always hanging out.
Because her owners are breeders who only think about profit, Miss Flans was never given any medical attention. They never knew that she has various medical conditions. Whenever she had a seizure, they would just laugh at her.
Life was going to be difficult for her. But fate had a different idea.
Foster
An active animal rescuer, Linda Alvarez took Miss Flans in for fostering. She planned to do so until she can find someone willing to give her the love and care that she requires. It’s not going to be easy as the pooch has many needs.
Linda took the challenge as she already has vast experience in fostering different animals. Many of them have health problems. She has developed patience and understanding when dealing with and caring for these helpless creatures.
Miss Flans was given all the treatment and attention that was needed. Although many of her health problems are congenital, they were able to limit her seizures.
Foster fail
Linda eventually realized that having Miss Flans under her care would be the best option. So she permanently adopted her. She has gained so much progress in her home, and she doesn’t want the pup to regress.
Miss Flans has flourished alongside the foster animals that temporarily stay with them. She has learned to love their company and would often play and cuddle with them. The happy pup has helped them come out of their shell and let them know that they are loved.
Because of her, many of these creatures have moved on to find their happiness in their own forever homes.
