Goldendoodle Prevents Disaster By Keeping His Human Ward Off The Couch And His Technique Made The Kid Laugh Too

Goldendoodle Prevents Disaster By Keeping His Human Ward Off The Couch And His Technique Made The Kid Laugh Too

Jeni Hans July 24, 2021

It’s not always fun to implement the rules, but somebody has to do it. This Goldendoodle certainly knew that he needed to stop his ward from getting on the couch.

The pet must have been told by his hooman parents to watch their son and keep him from climbing on the couch. With his energy, he might have a little tumble, and that couldn’t be pretty.

Especially when mom and dad were out, this doggo was in charge. He was keen on fulfilling his duties because that’s how he was – reliable, responsible, and faithful to the core.

This little boy’s parents were home that day, so he got a little cheeky. He tried to get past the Goldendoodle and hop on the couch. It was a challenge to the pet, and he took it seriously.

The boy lunged and ran towards one side before zooming to the other, but he only succeeded in touching the edges of the couch. He was nowhere near his goal.

The curly-haired, golden pet was too fast for his ward’s reflexes. This soon became like a little game, but it showed the parents just how trustworthy their dog was.

We don’t doubt that after this little showcase of skills, these parents breathed easier. They knew they could trust the dog, but it’s an added assurance to see him in action.

The little boy chuckled throughout the game, and it’s great to see that he had fun. It seemed like he understood why his faithful buddy behaved like that, and he was cool with it.

Theirs is the kind of friendship that required no explanation. This dog’s character and his consistent actions told the little boy to obey the rules. He was cheeky with them, but he followed them.

Good job in guarding your ward, doggo! You certainly deserve the love and trust you’re enjoying now.
