Family Leaves Their Dog Chained To A Truck Because All He Wants To Do Is To Be Happy And Play

Family Leaves Their Dog Chained To A Truck Because All He Wants To Do Is To Be Happy And Play

Jeni Hans April 18, 2022

A dog named Loki came to his family when he was young. They took care of him and intended to use him for herding their sheep. But when they eventually figured out that he was a dog that wanted nothing more than to play and be happy, they loathed him and kept him out on the farm.

Loki did not understand what happened. One day, he had a home, but the next morning, he found himself tied to an old rusty truck in the sheep farm. He was tethered with a short chain that barely allowed him to move.

Because he wasn’t good at herding, Loki’s family decided he’d rather be a guard dog. However, it wasn’t clear as to what was he supposed to guard or protect. There was nothing on the farm except for the truck and the heaps of old hay.

It was chilling and the poor dog didn’t have anything to protect himself from the cold. He also starved. Who knew how long he hadn’t eaten. He didn’t even have water to quench his thirst.

Loki spent days enduring the extreme cold. Luckily for him, rescuers from the charitable group Howl of A Dog learned about him and came. They were happy to help but he was more delighted to see new faces. He wagged his crazy tail and he jumped out of joy as if he knew they were there for him.

The dog was lively but he shivered because he had been out for so long. A warm meal helped him raise his body temperature, and he finished his food within minutes. Later on, he was ready to leave and it was a good thing that his owners agreed to let him go.

No one knew what he may have been through in his past life but Loki surely deserved a better life. It’s only right to give him a home. After all, he’s a sweet and loving dog that wanted nothing but to bring joy to his family.

Loki is now under the care of Howl of A Dog in Romania and he is ready for his new home. He is available for adoption both locally and internationally. So if you wish to make him part of your beautiful family, make your move right away and contact the rescue organization.
