A lot of people say that humans can learn a lot from dogs. Like for instance, how to cherish the people around us. Most dog owners know how happy and excited dogs can be every time they come home. It’s a great feeling to see how appreciative they are of our presence. Even if you were gone for just a short while, they have the same reaction when you come back.
To them, we are their whole life. Our presence makes them genuinely happy. They know that when we are there, they feel secure and loved. And the video below shows exactly what it means.
Mommy’s back
The video is set in Japan, where people commonly take off their shoes when they come home. They usually have double doors to their entrances. The first door leads to an area where you can leave your footwear. Then there is another door that leads to the entrance of the house.
While the mom is taking off her shoes, her baby dogs rush to the glass sliding door anticipating her entrance. They jump up and down in excitement, waiting for their mom to enter finally. And when she does, one of the dogs, a Jack Russell, gets to work.
The mom sticks out one of her feet, and the dog grabs the end of her sock. The pooch then gently pulls back to get it off her foot. Then, she extends her other foot. This time, the dog seemed to had a more difficult time getting the sock off. But with lots of persistence and with the help of the other dogs, they were able to pull it off successfully.
But it doesn’t end there. Not only did they take their mom’s socks off, but they also picked it up from the floor and gave it to her. The cute doggies do this every time she arrives. It’s certainly nice to come home with his kind of welcome.
