Dog Was So Sad When He Found Out He Was Being Abandoned By His Family At A Shelter

Jeni Hans February 21, 2022

Countless dogs are abandoned by their owners in shelters every single year. Many of the dogs that get abandoned become sad and confused since they have no clue why their family is abandoning them. Seeing a dog begging their owners to be taken back home is such a heartbreaking thing to see and it’s really sad that it regularly happens.

Thankfully, there are quite a lot of people out there that are more than willing to give these dogs another chance. A shelter volunteer named Nancy Klein happened to witness a dog being abandoned by its owner. According to Nancy, it was truly heartbreaking seeing the dog clinging to his owner seemingly begging him to not leave him at the shelter.

Nancy found out that the dog’s name is Moses and he used to be a shelter dog before he was adopted. Moses didn’t do anything wrong. In fact, Moses is a sweet dog who wanted nothing more than love from his family.

Nancy couldn’t help but ask why Moses was being surrendered. Eventually, Moses’s owner stated that the family was moving to a new house and the new landlord was strict and didn’t allow animals in the property. The family didn’t want to give up Moses but they had no choice.

It’s quite sad that this happens to a lot of families. Even if they truly love their pets, certain changes in their life can force them to abandon their dogs. After Moses was surrendered, he crawled onto Nancy’s lap. Moses just wanted to be with someone and it broke Nancy’s heart since she knew that she couldn’t take Moses home.

Moses truly deserves a forever home with a loving family that will never abandon him again. Nancy decided to post a photo of Moses with a detailed description as well as his heartbreaking story. Since then, Moses’s story was shared countless times on social media and has garnered a lot of attention.

Moses is a truly sweet dog who gets along with everyone he meets. He’s very friendly and the people caring for him at the shelter are sure that he would soon find a good forever home. Here’s a heartwarming video telling Moses’s story.
