Dog Left Alone At Home Gets Caught Stealing Beef Jerky From Counter

Dog Left Alone At Home Gets Caught Stealing Beef Jerky From Counter

Jeni Hans January 24, 2020

Ivar, the German Shepherd, has lived with his family for many years. He has proven himself to be a good pup because of how obedient he is throughout the years.

One time, Ivar’s human parents started to notice that all the food on their kitchen counter kept on disappearing. They believe that the disappearances were a mystery that needs to be solved.

Krissa mentioned that Ivar has never stolen any food from them. She recalled that they would even try to tempt Ivar to take their food by putting it on the ground, walk away, and watch from a safe distance, but their dog refuses even to touch it.

Krissa eliminated the thought that their dog was the suspect because she believes that it was just too impossible. However, Ivar proved his human family wrong when he was caught red-handed for attempting to steal his favorite treats.

Krissa’s father decided to install a camera that detects any motion that it sees. It has a special feature that allows him to talk through remotely, and its speakers will let the person, or in this case, Ivar, hear what he will say.

Krissa’s dad strategically left the camera on the kitchen counter just a few inches away from the bag of beef jerky, which was Ivar’s preferred doggy treats. He would get prompted if the food was ever under any threat, and it would allow him to confront the four-legged robber.

Krissa’s dad left Ivar alone at their home to work when his cellphone alerted him of the robbery that their dog was about to commit. The pup was visibly shocked that he heard a familiar voice when he was about to reach for his treats.

Ivar knew that his humans were not at home, which confused him as to how his dad caught him in the act. Now, Ivar will think twice about whether to steal some treats or just ask for permission.
