When we think back at the life we had when we were kids, we couldn’t help but wonder how we ever wanted to grow up. Everything was provided for us, and we had no responsibilities.
The only thing we needed to worry about was what to do on that day, and whether we’d invite that pesky friend who pushed us yesterday.
This corgi named Popcorn certainly didn’t expect to have a swimming class right in the back of their yard. He wondered what kind of adventures the container with water held.
Popcorn observed it at first, trying to make sense of how it worked. When he saw that it pretty much did not do anything, he decided to act.
The fluffball went and pawed at the container, making the water in it move. He was pleasantly surprised, so he did it again. He made use of his back legs for leverage.
The corgi’s snout touched the cool water, and he snapped back in surprise. The sudden movement made the water slosh around, so Popcorn moved to get some distance between them.
He observed some more, and when he realized that the water didn’t do anything without him taking action, Popcorn went back. He liked that he had a bit of control over it.
The adorable corgi decided to cross over it, and that’s when he discovered that the water could actually splash his perky ears. That was a little too much for Popcorn, so he quickly hopped out.
He was adventurous, but since this was his first time, he wasn’t gonna get reckless. Although the water felt good, it was a different feeling when he was neck-up in it.
You’re mighty brave to explore and still have fun despite your reservations, Popcorn! Good call in assessing and observing everything first. You’ll be fine, you’ll see.
