They say that when you find your people, you never let go of them. This bear-like dog found her best friend in the form of a toddler.
Guard
The dog’s name is Honey – she’s a Shetland Sheepdog breed, and that explains the fluffy, chubby body. Maybe that’s why Arin, the human toddler, found Honey friendly as well.
Even when Arin’s just watching a show on the telly, Honey focuses on her ward and stays guard. Dogs are famous for their loyalty and protective instincts, but Honey takes it to a new level.
The friendship started right when Arin came home from the hospital. The fluffy doggo sniffed the baby out, and from then on, nothing could separate the puppy from the little hooman.
It also helped that they’re about the same age, and they look so alike in many aspects. Cute and adorable – check. Chubby bodies and cheeks? Check.
Honey’s not the only pet in the family, but whenever they gather, Arin seeks her friend out first. Then she gives her pal the biggest hug her tiny arms could afford, and then she’s off to the other pets.
That’s one tight bond that’ll carry until adulthood, and we’re glad for these two. Finding a close ally early in life makes it more fun and comforting.
They support each other’s jam, and if one needs to play with tasteless stuff that looks like food, the other pretends to like it.
If one’s watching the telly, the other gives generous back rubs. That’s what you call friendship goals!
You guys discovered the secret to lasting bonds early, and we’re positive it’s just gonna get better. We’re cheering you both on, and we’d love to see more of your adventures together.
We appreciate the candid reminder of the secret to lasting friendships – give and take’s the key, and loyalty’s free!
