Adopted Puppy Grows More Than Expected And Outgrows Everything His Human Bought For Him

Adopted Puppy Grows More Than Expected And Outgrows Everything His Human Bought For Him

Jeni Hans April 20, 2020

Okay, so when we say puppy, we’re used to the adorable little ones we usually associate with, right? This adoptive mom realized her adopted dog isn’t like the rest of the dogs in her neighborhood.

Adopting Titus

This lady decided to get a puppy of her own. She spent hours on the internet doing her research and looking up all sorts of dog breeds, what they looked like, and what they eat.

She bought leashes, blankets, toys, and dog collars for her future dog. She thought it best to prepare for the eventual adoption, and she did well.

She finally found one, but since the puppy still fed from its mother, she decided to wait until it no longer needed sustenance from its mom.

Imagine her surprise when she revisited him after a couple of weeks. The pup grew six times its original size!

The pup’s breed’s called an Alaskan Malamute. They grow to bear-sized proportions, and this big boy’s about to become a celebrity in his own right.

This furry, bear-like doggy inherited the name, Titus. His adoptive mom says it means “great, giant warrior.” A fitting name for a dog that’s about to grow more than she could ever imagine.

Pretty soon, he outgrew all of his doggy stuff, leashes, collars, and even his kennel. You can say that his name aptly fits his size now. My oh my, Titus, what big paws you have!

Titus grew to incredible proportions, and it matched his personality. He’s playful and smart, and his owner realized she needed to train him properly.

He’d jump on her lap like a typical puppy does and would rush up to her, making her fall most of the time. Yep, at four years old, he’s just a giant puppy.

They’d get lots of attention due to Titus’ thick fur and his height. Remember when we said he’d become a celebrity? Well, Titus is all over social media, so yep, he’s famous all right.

Cheers to gigantic moments of love and affection, Titus!
