A Professional Dog Trainer Reacts To Bizarre Dog Videos That Her Fans Sent Her

Jeni Hans April 16, 2021

Popular dog trainers have a lot to offer when it comes to dog training advice. They have platforms in which they can reach and educate multiple audiences. One such trainer is Victoria Stilwell, who reacted to dog videos that her fans sent her. She also took the time to give tips appropriate for each situation.

The first video that Victoria watched was about a Belgian Malinois named Ivy. The dog had a habit of leaping on trees and biting the branches. According to the owner, Ivy has been injured by this act because she would often hang from the branch.

Victoria advised Ivy’s owner to get a toy that resembles a stick. During walks with Ivy, the owner needs to bring out the toy and play some games with her. The trainer believes that a habit such as clinging on branches should not be encouraged.

The next video featured a small dog named Reggie. He shakes a lot when he wants something. Reggie was shaking in front of some food his owner was eating in the video sent to Victoria.

According to the trainer, it’s a common thing that happens to small dogs. She advised the owner to have some food ready for situations when Reggie starts shaking. This tip ensures that the owner can enjoy whatever they are eating while the dog can do the same.

The last video that she watched was about a dog who can’t help but hump his dog bed. According to Victoria, the habit of humping is not necessarily related to anything sexual. It could also be related to anxiety or excitement.

Teddy’s owner opted to use a leash inside the house to pull him away from the bed. This is because whenever they tried grabbing him, he would bite. The owner also decided to get rid of the bed altogether. Victoria approved what the owner had done in the situation.

Victoria has more videos of her reacting and giving advice on her YouTube channel. She’s done wonderful things for dogs and dog owners alike. Watch her reactions below to find out more.
